10th Anniversary: Water, Grass, Place - October 10, 2010, 4:00 p.m. River Arts Center
Michael Bell offers an original musical composition that illuminates Sauk Prairie as a home.  The work draws on influences of the geological, biological, and sociological aspects of the area and is coupled with projections of photographs by local contemporary photographer Bill Pielsticker. The inventive and collaborative multi-media performance celebrates Sauk Prairie’s dynamic culture and unique environment for River Arts Inc 10th Anniversary of the River Arts Center.  FREE
Buckets & Tap Shoes- October 23, 2010, 7:30 p.m. River Arts Center.
Buckets & Tap Shoes astounds audiences world wide with high-energy driving music created with everything from tap shoes to 5- gallon buckets to drums, bass, guitar and trumpet.  This unique group of performers seamlessly transfers spontaneous street performance to the professional stage.  Students also have the opportunity to work with the professional musicians and dancers of Buckets & Tap Shoes at an energetic and educational morning workshop. 
Yahara String Quartet- January 22, 2011, 7:30 p.m. River Arts Center
Warm up to Bach, Handel, Mozart, Corelli and more!  The Yahara String Quartet is composed of four friends from the Madison area who make life about performing and teaching music.  Come in from the cold and sooth winter woes with an intimate tour of classical masters. 

Bearfoot- February 5, 2011, 7:30 p.m.
A bluegrass concert for all ages, Bearfoot features twin fiddles, fast-picking mandolin and guitar, upright bass, and beautiful harmony vocals. Whether performing their original Americana/bluegrass songs, freshly arranged traditionals, or covers of contemporary tunes, Bearfoot bridges the style of generations.

Joan Curto- March 19, 2011, 7:30 p.m. River Arts Center
Joan Curto, Chicago’s After Dark Award Winner for Outstanding Cabaret Artist, provides a showcase for her classic, sultry styling and emotional versatility with her one woman show that features the songs of Ethel Merman and Mary Martin.  The acclaimed ‘cabaret icon’ by NBC TV has performed at many of the country’s prestigious rooms including New York’s Jazz and Lincoln Center and The Metropolitan Room among others as well as performing locally at the Overture Center in Madison and the Stackner in Milwaukee.

UW Symphony Orchestra- April 9, 2011 7:30 p.m.
Experience the colorful and retrospective Symphonic Dances by Rachmaninoff and the grandiose Symphony No. 1 by Brahms with the UW Symphony Orchestra.  Conductor James Smith and undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison fill the concert hall with vibrancy and tranquility with their performance of these two major works.
