Using Zapp to Apply to Art Fairs
Why use a system like Zapp?
- Free to use
- Stores your files all in one place
- Photos, statements, etc
- Connects you to shows across the country
- Automatically reminds you about upcoming deadlines
- Secure payment processing, written records of transactions

Getting started
- Create your profile (link to video)
- Reminder: keep this up to date. If you move, change your email, etc
- Link to video
- Can list collaborators, but not required
Tricky Spots: Uploading photos
- Zapp requires images to be a certain size and resolution. This is a benefit to you, as it presents your work in the best possible way to jurors!
- Most common problem: images are the wrong size. There are lots of free, online photo editing websites that can help you resize. I’ll link to those below, plus tutorials
- Note: Zapp will require you to list dimensions of the piece in the photo. If that is tricky for you, you can always put “0” in each place and leave a comment describing what the jurors are looking at
