Lindy (Endres) Cashdollar ’03
Lindy Cashdollar’s childhood was filled with an array of dance styles, recitals and Executive Session show choir competitions. Upon graduation from Sauk Prairie High School in 2003, Lindy attended UW-Stevens Point to receive her BA in dance. With her goal in sight, Lindy dove into the world of college dance and performance. ‘CABARET’, ‘Seussical the Musical’, ‘Crazy For You’ and ‘AIDA’ gave her the opportunity to broaden her repertoire when she wasn’t in dance performances. Besides musical theater performances , Lindy taught several Fosse workshops at UW-Stevens Point and in the Stevens Point area. Lindy did partake in professional shows during her college career-a soloist and dance captain at Playland Park in Rye, New York, and a dancer/soloist in Chula Vista’s ‘Fab 50’s’ show in Wisconsin Dells where she was also cast as Rizzo in a ‘Grease’ medley, and Anita in a ‘West Side Story’.
After receiving her BA in dance, she moved to Chicago in 2007, and began pursuing her career as a professional singer. Soon after her relocation, Lindy met the fabulous Chicago based jazz vocalist, Ms. Elaine Dame. After three years of lessons with Ms. Dame under her belt, Lindy performed live in and around Chicago.
In addition to being a jazz vocalist, Lindy was a dance and fitness instructor at Flirty Girl Fitness and Chicago’s Top Gym, Fitness Formula Club (FFC). 30-35 classes a week and meeting with personal training clients kept her very busy! She had created and introduced several new formats to Flirty Girl and other gyms where she was the top dance/pole instructor. FFC brought Lindy on board the summer of 2013 and since then has scheduled her to teach at 6 locations around the city, and counting. Being recognized as a professional and encouraging instructor, Lindy was nominated and won Rack CHICAGO’S ‘Hottest Trainer’ the summer of 2013.
Adding another pole/circus studio to her resume in 2015 (The Brass Ring), gave Lindy more choreography opportunities. A premier pole show was showcased at two famous Chicago venues -The Underground and Newport Theatre – & became a hit in the Chicago pole & Burlesque scene.‘The Wild Side – A Bad Ass Pole Show’ ran until Covid-19 shut down the city of Chicago. Creating her own fitness formats and choreographing exciting and intricate dance pieces are her specialty and she is excited for every opportunity to teach and perform in the great city of Chicago.
