Meet Dave Considine
State Representative 81st District
Dave is proud to represent the citizens of the Sauk Prairie area and the entire 81st district in the State Assembly. Now in his third term, Dave especially loves meeting with local citizens to hear their concerns about their district and the state. Dave taught special education in Baraboo for 30 years before retiring to run for the Assembly. He lives on Breezy Hill Farm in the Baraboo Bluffs where from the mid 70’s to the mid 90’s, he milked 140 dairy goats, raised a flock of sheep and tended and sold 14 acres of apples.
Dave enjoys time with his wife Gretchen, a Physician Assistant at Prairie Clinic, their 5 children and families. His 11 grandchildren enjoy time with Grandpa Dave especially when he makes them sourdough pancakes or bread and takes them for rides and hikes on the farm. Dave enjoys singing in the worship band at First United Methodist Church in Baraboo. Past directors of shows he has performed in with the Baraboo Theatre Guild would say, “He can sing and act, but dance????”
