Students Should Bring: Feel free to bring your own inspirational items from home to use (lace doily, pressed flowers, or other FLAT or translucent materials and your own negatives or digital negatives if you have them).

Level: Intermediate/Basic familiarity with cyanotypes required

Ages: 16+

This workshop is for folks who have dabbled with cyanotypes and want to explore beyond the basics. We will have both instruction and lots of time for hands-on exploration including wet cyanotypes and double exposures.

Pre-treated fabric, paper and coffee filters will be used to create single and dual sided imagery, using a variety of materials for inspiration including leaves, flowers, stencils and more.

Artist Bio: Angela Johnson is an artist and educator with a creative spirit. Her teaching career started as a 5th grade Language Arts teacher. No matter the classroom, her teaching philosophy remains the same – give students the tools to grow from learner to leader in both art and life. When not making work, teaching, or working with individuals, groups, and organizations as a creative coach, Angela can be found meditating, kayaking, or scuba diving.
