As patrons and supporters of River Arts Inc., you communicate often with Executive Director, Lindsey Giese, and Gallery and Studio Manager, Kristina Coopman, but you rarely get to see the behind the scenes look at what makes River Arts Inc. successful…our board of directors! We are taking the time now to introduce you to some of those people who ensure River Arts Inc.’s sustainability, fiscal responsibility, and who keep us fulfilling our mission to “inspire, enrich, and educate the community through the arts” day after day.
Our second interview is with current River Arts Inc. Vice President, Nickie Fisher
Her interview will be aired Monday, April 13th at 8pm
About Nickie:
I was born and raised in Sauk Prairie and continue to live and work in the community I love while raise my seven year old Dylann and 4 year old Marli with my husband Jay. I graduated from Madison College from the Graphic Design and Illustration program in 2010 and have worked at Culver Franchising since then. Most recently, I took on the new adventure of teaching part time at Madison College in the same program I graduated from. Art and Design inspired me everyday, from projects around the kitchen table with my girls, or on the side of a road Plen Air Pastel painting to working with young talented artists. To top it all off, being a part of the River Arts Board has made me so grateful for the connection back to the community and brought so much joy.
