After School Art Club 2

Welcome to After School Art Club! In this club, students will learn about a different famous artist or art movement each week. We’ll talk about their art style, the materials and techniques used, and why they were so important. Then everyone will make a project inspired by that artist or style. All projects will be completed and ready to take home by the end of the day; these sessions are all standalone events.

Parents, you can register your child for one session, a few sessions, or all 8 at a time. Each week we will learn about a different artist and make a different project. All supplies and instructor time are included in the registration fee. We will also provide a simple nut-free snack for the students to have before we get started.

Students will all meet at Grand Ave main office after school, where a River Arts Inc staff member will be waiting to walk the kids over to our studio location (590 Water St.). Parents should pick their children up from this location or make arrangements to have them walk home afterwards.
